Congratulations to Juliana and Mike, whose wedding I had the pleasure to shoot last Saturday. The ceremony took place at the UC Botanical Gardens in Berkeley, and despite a forecast of rain, we found some nice little moments of sun.

My photo of Shelbee on the left got an honorable mention in Crossroad’s 2009 fashion photo contest. The nice folks at Crossroads sent 2 copies of the winners book, which is full of great entries. I love to see what other people are shooting and styling. Going to plan ahead for the 2010 contest!

I know some photographers don’t like dealing with kids, but I really enjoyed shooting family portraits this year. It’s so rewarding to get a sweet baby photo, or that YAY-you-all-looked-and-smiled-at-the-camera-at-the-same-time-this-is-going-on-the-Christmas-card shot… So, I’m posting one more little set before the holidays take over.
